The benefits of your spiritual practice or sadhana include enhanced energy, reduced stress, and discovered peace. These accrue gradually and you can expect to slowly build momentum. Consider bookending your monthly sadhana with daily and seasonal regimens, as described here.

Enhance energy: align your circadian rhythms with the sun

-6:00 to 10:00 AM: kapha time of nurturing your waxing energy.

-10:00 to 2:00 PM: pitta time of mental and physical digestion.

-2:00 to 6:00 PM: vata time of routine and administration.

-6:00 to 10:00 PM: kapha time of self-care for your waning energy.

-10:00 PM to 2:00 AM: pitta time of physiological digestion.

-2:00 to 6:00 AM: vata time of                                                 creativity and spirituality.

Reduce stress: connect with the phases of the moon

-Waxing Ekadashi (May 6-7):

Recognize Lord Vishnu as one who forgives.

-Full Moon (May 12):

Express gratitude for how far you have come.

-Waning Ekadashi (May 22-23):

Seek Lord Vishnu's blessings.

-New Moon (May 27):

Set and write your intention.

Discover peace: nourish, move, and rest in sync with the earth

-Nourish all your senses with  sounds, sights, touch, and smells.

-Move more through this season of heaviness and lethargy.

-Connect deeply through meditation practices that honor the 'seeding' of renewal at this time of year.
